Mike Bridges (IBEW 48)
Mike Bridges serves as a Trustee for the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Central Labor Council.
Mike grew up in Kelso and is an Journeyman Electrician by trade, but serves his community as a Business Representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 48, while also serving as President of the Longview/Kelso Building and Construction Trades Council, and Executive board member of the Cowlitz /Wahkiakum Central Labor Council. He spends his days advocating for workers in his Local through contract negotiation and enforcement, and for the 10,000 Union tradeswomen and tradesmen of Southwest Washington through promoting and supporting responsible economic development that provides family-wage careers.
When he is not assisting members or meeting with politicians, Mike enjoys fishing, hiking, and generally enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his two children, Mara and Mason, and their two Newfoundlands, Biscuit and Gravy.
