The general election is just 33 days away. Many working people are focused on the presidential race, but we have some VERY important races right here in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties.

As you may have heard a handful of voucher initiatives by Restore Washington, a conservative political group that seeks to repeal legislative progress in Olympia via the initiative process, may be headed for Washington's ballot.

The average taxpayer spends a whopping $200-plus a year on tax prep services. I bet we can all think of better things we could do with that money instead.
