Meet Our 2026 Labor-Endorsed Candidates

After careful consideration and a vote by Delegates to the Cowlitz - Wahkiakum Central Labor Council, the Council is proud to announce it is endorsing the following candidates for the 2026 election:

Chelsea Chandler for Cowlitz County Commissioner	Staci Myklebust for Cowlitz County Clerk
Jill Karmy for Cowlitz County Superior Court Judge	Nicole Knowles for Cowlitz County District Court Judge

We are committed working to elect candidates in Legislative and Judicial races who will fight for working families. The SWWACLC encourages you to check the Washington State Labor Council’s Statewide COPE endorsements in those races, and to support the pro-worker candidates our state’s Labor movement has endorsed.

Now that the endorsements have been made, get ready to go to work! Make sure you’re registered to vote, and look for opportunities to get out the vote for these candidates who will fight for working families in our region.
